HEAT Assistance: Provides utility payment assistance to low-income households, targeting those who are truly vulnerable - the lowest-income households with the highest heating costs. Household must be at or below 150% of poverty. Application taken by appointment only. HEAT Crisis: Provides emergency utility payment to prevent immediate shut off. Must qualify for the HEAT program at or below 150% of poverty and have a shut off notice from your utility company. . CSBG: Provides emergency services such as; rent assistance, car repair, and other services as funding allows. Household must be at or below 125% of poverty. Please call your local office to schedule an appointment.
TANF: Provides short term rent to households with at least one dependent child and income at or below 200% of poverty. Please call your local office to schedule an appointment.
All clients will be evaluated for needs on a case by case basis by a case manager before any services are provided.
